How?

•    After an initial donation of $50, parishioners buy gas and groceries like they normally do. They get two $25 gift cards for next 12 months. The $50 of “found money” is donated each month to the church.

•    They pick a brand to be loyal to – and each month buy $100 from that brand.
•    They send in receipts and gain $25 gift cards for gas and grocery each month.
•    They donate that same $50 to the church each month.

How it works for the church:
•    Church chooses ministry or program to fund with specific fundraising goals in the next year.

•    Fundraising Campaign Goals:
o       50   families x $50 per month= $2,500   x 12 months=   $30,000*
o       100 families x $50 per month= $5,000   x 12 months=   $60,000*
o       500 families x $50 per month= $25,000 x 12 months=  $300,000*
o    1,000 families x $50 per month= $50,000 x 12 months=  $600,000*

•    Hand out Faith Promise Pledge Cards to familys for them to sign – making a one time contribution of $50, and stating they will commit to give the $50.00 of Grocery and Gas money they receive to the church over the next 12 months.

•    Family gives church initial donation for $50.00 and church purchases $300 Grocery Certificate and $300 Gas Certificate and gives to family.

•    Family registers certificates at www.ClaimYourGroceries.com & www.ClaimYourGas.com.  They choose the gas and grocery vendor, fill out survey, and then print vouchers. (WRITTEN ON VOUCHER:   ABC CHURCH/Ministry/Program THANKS YOU FOR PLEDGING THIS $25.00.)

•    Each month family spends $100 at chosen Grocery Store and $100 at chosen Fuel Brand.  Mails $100 of original receipts of both groceries and gas with same month voucher to Redemption Center.

•    Family receives two $25.00 gift cards.  Then, as promised, they donate $50.00/month to the Church for 12 months. (ask your CPA about charitable tax deduction)
